Macon is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Macon is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Neat place to hang out & play darts or just chill on the couch & maybe watch it rain. Beware, smoking is allowed here. Very kind bar staff.

Found myself there on an unplanned stop at an open jam and this place absolutely ROCKED! It was a packed house, the music was fantastic, the vibe was right - nothing bad to say about three Hummingbird! I wish I lived closer to Macon; I'd be a regular. I can definitely recommend "Music Therapy Monday" is you want to chill (or play) and soak in the best ambiance I've had the pleasure of being a part of in a long time

I’m not from the Macon area and I had some business in Macon and happen to stop by the Hummingbird in Macon Georgia with a coworker of mine. Something as simple as a casual get together, turned into a fiasco when it seemed like we were inconveniencing the bartender to even get service. The music was OK but the bartender ruined the night. Jamie was our bartender and He was incredibly rude and dismissive from the second, we walked in. we tried to get a drink at a relatively empty section at the bar and the bartender snapped at us and kind of seemed under the influence. When he was finally coherent enough to take our order It felt like we were an inconvenience just for ordering. I don’t know what this guy is going through, but maybe you should take better care of your employees. I don’t feel like as a customer me and my colleague should have to tiptoe around your employees because they’ve got something going on. I read the other reviews and I see the same automated response. Hopefully you care about your employees and you guys really check that because customers don’t deserve to be treated that way after spending their money thank you.

We were there during the day. There were only about 5 other people there. Music didn't start until 10 pm I love the historical building and copper beer tappers. I tried to ingage the bartender about the age but she either didn't know or care to discuss the history. She was friendly but not engaging. The outside of the building was interesting. I would have loved to hear live music but parking meters are limited time, and very hard to find a spot.
